I use the rcbs 0-55s or the HM-2.
most 250's will take a 227 boolit easy enough but the rcbs mold won't get there even with a 4/6/90 alloy.
so I size it to 225 when I add the gas check.
22.5grs of IMR-4895 works well, 21.0grs of the H-kind is alright too.[this is a fast load]
4227 not so good except at the lower 2-k area, but 2400 is okay over a broad range of speeds..

Well, I'm a little mystified. Today I posted a thank you and it doesn't register.
There are strange things in the interseine.

Tonight out taking a walk with May Bell (five year old refugee kitty from Bell County, TX south of Temple; eh, it was May 2011, so her name is May Bell) the Indiana coyotes are yipping over the hill and maybe coming this way. It's gelato time. A little less case capacity and the cumbersome scope.

no problem.
I pretty much swap 223 loads around to the bigger cased rifles, sometimes they are just a starting point but generally they work as is.
