Anyone doing lead free bullets with bismuth?

I've seen a few people selling this for bullet casting.

Any experiences?

thanks

It's been a long time since I had much to do with bismuth . Then it was for shot .
What I do remember about it is that it was brittle and often a 1/3 or more would be crushed and stay in the wads .
I know they bumped up the tin content of the shot and it was better .
I've read here that it was used but ultimately i think only as target metal . Again it's been a while it seems like it needed 30% or more tin to be really useful as a lead substitute for bullets .

As much as I hate the phrase , a local search will pull several threads about it with 1 running nearly a yr with lots of testing .

I must have used poor search words, didn't get much other than an add for sale.
