One of the other members mentioned a good result with an arsenal mold (www.arsenalmolds.com). I was having trouble getting my marlin 1894 in 44 mag to shoot. Apparently, this is an old story - they tend to have larger bores than the "standard" .429. None of my molds for the 44 mag would cast any bigger than .430, so I ordered an Arsenal mold in .432.
Wow, got here in 3 days, and works fantastic. Boolits came out .435, very symmetric, nice looking boolits from the first cast. All I did was swab the mold faces with acetone on a q-tip and started casting.
To same I'm pleased is an understatement.
Definitely won't be the last Arsenal mold I buy (and no, I don't work for them:))
