I scored! When he said 25 cents a pound, I said, I'll take all of it. Lots of big fishing weights and other assorted lead chunks.. Should be alright for the first few years of the DELETED reign.

Great score! It's never enough, though. At one point I had 2 tons of free COWW, now getting low. Thought that it would be a lifetime supply. I haven't even retired yet.

Good Score! Good price too. Hope all of it will be lead weights.

Lot of those downrigger fishing weight casters fed a few percent of tin into the mix for ease of casting. Hope it all turns out to be great alloy but one heck of a good score any way you slice it.

Good score but you might want to check the big fishing weights and other assorted lead chunks with acid in case some one melted some zinc with it.
I have had this happen with scrap yard buys.

I'd be more worried about water still being in the down riggers.
be careful melting them down.

I HATE YOU......, JUST KIDDING, THE GREEN EYED MONSTER TOOK AHOLD OF ME FOR A MINUTE! great score, im happy for you, that will keep you good for a while, unless you shoot machine guns or something lol. so is it more ww's or fishing stuff? I live by a dam and when the water is real low I go out and pick up fishing weights, some as big a 4oz. but I usually only get 8-10 lbs, on a good day. well enjoy your catch! and watch out for moisture like run said. have a good one! Yeah I'll be watching for any water traps. This is mostly COWW with a few big deep sea fishing weights, some battery cable ends, some terminals etc, no downrigger weights. I had to unload the 55 gal drum (almost half full) with my front end loader on my backhoe. When I got it where I wanted it, dumped in another 90 lbs of WW on top. 710 pounds total.
