Anyone here blooded their .43 on elk/ buffalo ? If so what were the results.

I don't see where it wouldn't do anything a .45-70 wouldn't do. Go for it.

Not yet, Bob.... But I do intend to kill a deer or two in KY with mine this year! It's a new-ish project, but I'm getting it dialed in. Should be hunt worthy in a few weeks, I hope.

Do you have the original 43 Spanish? OR, the Reformato version? Mine is a 43 Spanish Reformado.

We don't have wild elk or buffalo in North Mississippi, but the 43 works just fine on white tails.
