Being able to tell which ones have what load/powder.
Bought some new powders and the new Lee drum powder measure. Before setting it up, I needed to decide which powder and load I was going to use. So here are my first go around. 45ACP and .380ACP using light starting loads of Unique, Tightgroup, Bullseye, AA#5, and 700x. Now just need a nice day to set up the chrony and see how it goes. An added bonus is I'll be able to tell the boolits apart when I take them out of my boolit catcher.

Looks GREAT....FWIW..If your bullets are as good as mine, you will have a hard time picking them out of the boxes...TOO SLICK...HA HA...Bill.

I do sort of the same thing. I have PC for my 45acp & std loads & HT for my minor loads.

Biggest advantage I've seen - no leading for full power loads and first shot POI is the same as the rest of them. No need to 'prep' the bore (unless you've been using greasy lube) or even clean it much. Even if previous was jacketed. Tested from 32F to 100F.

I have been using different colors for a while. It allows me to distinguish my loads from one another. In 9mm for example I use the Lee 124rn for everything from 800fps loads for steel challenge matches to 1060 fps loads for falling steel to 1350fps major power factor loads for matches requiring that power factor. Pink, blue, and orange are the colors for the 3 listed loads.

No sticky ALOX to collect dirt and dust, long term storage benefits, less smoke out the pole, easier cleanup, and they look good.

Good for making the sheeple at the range look at you cross eyed and start drooling as their noodle fries in an attempt to comprehend what they are seeing.

I actually had a guy come up to me and tell me that tracers are not allowed on the range [and he was right]. I said what tracers? He was referring to some red PC'd 7,62x54R loads. What a muppet. LOL!
