Threw this one together today and tested it with one of my "shop" .22's, a $35 estate sale early 510.

A rough aim at the target then put the top clamp on and ran 5 shots @ 60 yards for a 1.25" group.

Should be fun to test out other rifles once I have a chance to finish it.

Neat! At least you know what the barreled action is capable of, and this can help diagnose any problems when you put it back in the stock. That ain't no small thing sometimes.

You should make your clamp vertical so you can use the sights. If possible?

BTW I love your projects. Wish I had the tools you have and the background to use them.

I think I am about there.


The best 10 second, 10 shot 100yd group I have fired so far and with a .22 none the less.
