For those interested in small wind these parts are a very good start to a wind generator http://www.randysworkshop.net/products.html the F&P motor can deliver 500+ watts with a 6' diameter rotor. I am working on one using those parts. I need to rewire the stator for 24 volts and build a tail and decide what I want for a blade hub and blades for the rotor...

That's really interesting. I wonder if you could scale it up using a 55 gallon drum
