During our workday at the range Saturday, one of our club members offered me a 50 lb bar of stereotype since he knew I am into casting my own. All I know about it is it was used in conjunction with printing, much like linotype and monotype.

I can find plenty of info on the former two but can't locate much into on this stereotype (if I'm spelling it right). Can anyone shed some light on this alloy and give me some recommendations on using it?
