Brother in law died last night

Brother in law died last night .
he was 43 .. got a bad cold (so he thought) .. died on the phone talking to his mother
he lived in Savannah GA where the storm is headed .. Fighting to claim the body before they shut everything down...and get it to Spartanburg (mothers town) for funeral
I may be in and out for the next couple of days as we work thru this

Gee whiz, Smoke! I'm so sorry to hear of this. You and the family are in my prayers. 43 is awfully young to pass from this world, but when I was 28, a fellow in a nearby town died at my same age. It was yet another reminder that none of us knows when our time will come. This is supposed to keep us mindful enough for us to seek the joys we can, and deal with the bad or sad times as needed, I think. I pray you and the family will find peace, even in this time of loss of a loved one. Keep the faith. It matters.

the Hurricane is really causing some issues getting closure to the mother ..
They will not cremate till sometime next week. Then the ashes have to be transported to Spartanburg
They are hoping to have service Wed or Thursday 8 or 9 days after the death
It is what it is but really causing the mother issues
