Hi...
Stopped at one of the local gun shops yesterday afternoon to check out the current powder selection.
Found most all powders in stock in various size canisters with no posted limits on quantities. Same with primers.
I bought two 1lb canisters of Unique at $20.59 each(lowest price I have seen in some time). That was the one powder that was not available in a larger size. Most Alliant handgun powders were in the same price range for 1lb canisters. Prices had been as high as $28.99/lb in this area, depending on the shop.
I still need to stock up a few more pounds of Unique and it wouldn't hurt to have a few more pounds of Bullseye and Blue Dot, as well.
I have quite a bit of 2400, 4227 and W296/H110 on hand along with a few pounds of Power Pistol, HP38/W231, Herco and Red Dot on hand.
I am getting to the point where I have enough powder and primers to last for several years of reloading my favorite loads in just about every handgun caliber I reload for and plenty left over for experimentation.
