I'm looking to load the lovely Nosler 125 grain ballistic tip bullet with WW 748 in my H&R .30-30. Anybody done this? Got a starting point for me?
Thanks.

When my youngest son started deer hunting, I got him a .308 and went with the Hogdon youth load of a 125 grain Spitzer and 37 grains of 4895. Accurate, recoil just about nil and killed deer quite well at the ranges we normally shoot them.
I would think that would make a great deer round as the .30-30 is plenty capable of reaching those ballistics.
