I'm new to the group and just wanted to say hi before I got into my question.

I'm a hobby machinist, and newby reloader and I wanted to try machining a bullet mold for the 230 grain 45 ACP tumble lube round nose. I don't have any to measure and I've been looking online trying to find a dimensioned drawing of the bullet so I would know how to make my cutter. Can anyone point me to a good online reference? If I can make this one I'd like to try making others as well.

I appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Chris

Despite looking all over the internet I still haven't found a good drawing of the 230gn 45 ACP. I've been working on a design in cad but honestly I'm not sure that what I'm coming up with is actually going to work.

Chris, Accurate publishes some specs on their molds. The 45-230's are here
http://www.accuratemolds.com/catalog.php?page=11

Scroll down and click on the mold you want to see.
