My Auto-Ord (Kahr) 1927 vertical grip has parted company with the receiver. The mount plate was never held by much more than a spot weld and a couple of stakes.
So... Since I never liked it that much I'd like to replace it with a vertical one. AO makes a composite version for the T1-C but not a wooden one for my T5 (These have the longer, finned barrel with Cutts compensator).
I have a vertical grip for a short-barrel Thompson but it won't fit without milling a wider channel for the mount plate. Does anyone know where or if I can get a drop-in replacement?
