View Full Version : Who owns a Lee 113f 30 cal "soup can"?
Can you measure the metplat for me?
I have a Lyman 311316 I want to upgrade to a double cavity. Similar to the Lee. I love the boolit but the flat points jam in my M1 Carbine.

Looks like .200 to me. The Lee 120gr round nose is the same bullet without the FP. It works well in my 30 carbine.
Right with the 0.200" meplate...
Mine weigh-in at ~116 grains with check and lube when cast from wheel weights...
I actually never found it to be a great shooter in my 30-30 Winchesters, Model 94's and T/C Super 14's...
Sure would sting if it hit you though!!!...

What top-punch would you use with that bullet? Lee doesn't make any top-punches so I guess you would have to guess which to use from Lyman or RCBS.
I've used #8 with pretty good success...
Good-luck...BCB
