From what I see, Clembert started this concept for the Walker Colt.
Is anyone doing it now?

Thanks 17, I have the cylinder and found a reamer to rent. I was wondering if anything had happened in this concept in the last 5 years.

There was someone making conversion Cylinder for the "Walker" which used a longer .45 Cartridge...I forget now what Rifle Cartridge one cut down to make it, but, it held like 55 or 60 Grains of BP I think, and looked really fun.

I lost track though of who all was into this, but it was some flurry for a while.

The "parent" cartridge for the BPM is the 460 S&W Magnum. From the video's I've seen, it's quite a boomer. I don't know if I'd want to be the one holding on when it was set off. Muzzle blast from what I can tell is both excessive and awesome.... and at close range might actually cauterize the wound or set your target a blaze. I know the modern colt walker replicas are strong(er than the originals), but without further research, I wouldn't bet my life or hand/eyesight on an extended firing session.
