I learned today that Buckshot is no longer doing custom machine work. That's a loss because if you have ever seen his work, you know how good it was. Any way, I need some custom push-through sizing dies made. Do any of you know someone who is doing that kind of work?

He would probably make you a custom size bushing for his push through sizer. But he's already got quite a few on the page.

Also Lathesmith on this forum could probably open up a Lee push through sizer for you to the size you want.

I need on that sizes .733 so nothing Lee has will work. I need a custom die to screw into a RockChucker with the bushing removed. Nothing fancy but it is big.

Don't know anybody making one that big.

Dave (CH4D) is several weeks/months behind for custom work, I spoke to him last week.

Draw it up in a decent drawing with dimensions and tolerences. Take it to a couple local machine / job shops and get qoutes. Having the print drawing allows them to see what you want and they can give an accurate estimate on cost. Almost any Job shop can make this Piece. And the .733 bore makes it easier than a smaller bore to boot. When dimensioning the bore give it +.000 -.002 and if its tight then you can lapp it up to size. If it comes out big theres not much you can do. Remeber to allow a lead angle into sizer area and a lead out to the relieved part of the sizer. The sizer ring only needs to be 1/4"-3/8" long in the die.
