No, no, not that kind of shaving.

Any gun that has a ported barrel, like Magnaport, shaves a bit of lead when you shoot cast lead bullets across them. It's usually not a big deal, at least on revolvers.

Has anyone shot Hi-tek coated bullets across port vents? Did you notice any difference? Since coated bullets seem to be tough, I'm really curious to see if they shave less or don't shave at all.

Well I think that is the first time that ? came up. I have one ported pistol well did gave it to my son and have not shot much PC in that one but now wondering about it.

HITEK has been shot in 357 and 44mag Desert Eagle at my club with no issues.

Not Hi-teck but I know of a fellow that has shot considerable amounts of PC,d boolits thru a AR gas port that has noticed no degradation in function from gas port shaving so I would think Mag porting would be the same

Never use Hi-Tek, but my powder coated bullets do not have any problems I am aware of in gas ports, revolvers or muzzle brakes.
