I was able to load some last week with good results in both rifled and smoothbore 870's. Herco powder, Federal
12S4 wads with the petals trimmed to slug height, and a +/- .125" poly carbonate underslug wad. Loaded in high brass Federal 2&3/4" paper based hulls. Out of the rifled barrel, 3 shot groups slightly larger than 3/4" hole at 25 yards. 6" group at 100yards. Starting velocity around 1300 fps+. Casted up a coffee can full of these slugs this past weekend. Great mold.

I have a bunch of slugs cast but it is going to be a while before I can reload and test them. With work and other other things it sucks up my time and have projects in front of these slugs.

I have been loading them for a Marlin 55 Bolt 12 ga smooth Bore and a DP12 double barrel pump smooth bore ..
very very happy with results
