Has anyone noticed a change in the diameter of the primer flash holes in LC brass? Pictured is two pieces LC 13 brass, flash holes different176102

No I haven't, but I have noticed that with the LC 2014 brass, at least the last batch I got, the inside of the flash hole is full of burrs, as every one and I'm talking +/- 1K cases had a lot of copper shavings come out with the Sinclair deburring tool. Worse I've seen with any 223 brass.
I just chuck-up the gen II universal deburring tool in the drill press, so it doesn't take long, but usually there's just a tad or brass but this batch had a bunch!;-)

Flash holes on LC 7.62mm brass are not drilled, but are punched on the priming machine, hence the flashing.
Diameter spec is 0.078-0.082" on the drawing.
When uniforming brass for match shooting we used a No.2 long center drill.

When using the Lee Universal Decapping Die on late LC 5.56 brass I often encounter problems. Broke a pin last week. Seems the flash holes are smaller. I have to go very slowly.
