Please pardon me if this subject has been answered before. What is the best way to anneal 22 rimfire cases before use as bullet jackets? I have access to a fairly sophisticated heat treating oven which has the capability to go as high as 1000 degrees F. Is it better to to air cool the jackets after heating or is it better to water quench? What is the best temp to use to do the annealing? The oven that I can use has the capability to use a time controlled cool down mode. Thanks,
