Navarone is my tongue in cheek name for a semi-bench gun, .52 Renegade with 38" long barrel. And yeah, I could hunt with it but the 26" long .52 flinter barrel (would that be Navartwo?) would be more reasonable in the field.

Made some time and sighted in at 100 yards with 80 and 100 grains FFg.
100 grains put them in a hole.
Time to remove the scope clamp and install a tang sight (not yet purchased).

The scope mount is a clamp-on design that makes it pretty handy for octagonal barrels.

The shorter ones up front are Ideal #512138.

Hi Cheer,

Why do you dry your patches with the bullets standing on the noses?

Take care, Tom

Yo Tom,
They were dried base down to flatten the patch against the base.
When running them through the sizer they were turned on nose to keep track.

I'm looking at other paper now. The nine pound is good stuff but the .52 actually overcame it.
Some of the stock I've collected over the years might work.

Well, I want a Shaver rear peep but I'm gonna try a TC sight first.
So, went and dug through the toy box to get one. And I looked on the interseine out of curiosity... these things got something like a $149.95 price tag!!!
