The 3rd one down? It is an FR8 Spanish Mauser. In .308. Very neat little rifle. A beast with jacketed full power loads, but with cast bullets and Unique it is a real dandy!

I put the FR-8 as fourth down? Really like mine. Nice rifles you got there!

Why does the FR8 look like it has a gas tube?

Gas operated bolt action?[smilie=1: Actually it is a oiler bottle and a bayonet lug and I believe a sling point as well.

Had one of the FR8's some years back. Only shot it with some west german nato ball ammo I had. Well recoil really wasn't bad. Just annoying. But the rifle was short, fairly accurate, looked different and was just a fun gun. Frank
