Went to the range with a bud. His Henry would not feed a RCBS-44-300-SWC.
Crimped
COAL Wight
Boolit hit on way up..
Is the Boolt to big ??
Any ideas ??

Instead of crimping in the groove you could crimp over the shoulder of the SWC. You may end up with trouble from the tube magazine and boolits being pushed deeper in the case.

Most lever guns were not made for long boolits, feed dimensions, etc. Then a SWC with the shoulder.
It will not stabilize a 300 anyway.

I never had a Marlin in 44 mag with it's 1:38" twist stabilize a 300g nominal boolit, so I doubt that a Henry .44mag with it's 1:38" twist will either.
