Does anyone konw what the BB stands for on the Lyman mould #515139

BB= BEVELED BASE, apparently it is an aid to seating.

Plus a big aid for commercial boolit maker as the bases don't get distorted in shipping .

I adhere to the aid in reducing the shipping damage for the commercial casters theory. I avoid them as a unessasary feature, when a flat base design is available. Some say the flatbase is more accurate, but I will never know for myself as I am not that accurate to begin with. If the price is right, give it a try!
