For the longest time I was stuck in the great city of NY:rolleyes: for work so C&R was kind of pointless. Now that I'm free I finally went ahead and got my C&R, just received it yesterday.

Sent it to Jg-sales today since I'm eyeing their SKS and probably getting it for an early Christmas.

Other guns I've looked at:
Mosin - I remember when these were $105, now they're $250 and the spam cans are rising faster than inflation. I'll get one eventually, but I don't have a suitable range/space for this right now.
Tokarevs/Makarovs - ammo is alot more expensive for these than i remembered. JG's got a CZ-82 that interests me, but it's gunsmith special, and I definitely don't have the time/expertise/money to get one fixed if it's seriously messed up, and I don't need a $200 paperweight. I might consider a Tokarev if I eventually get into reloading for it.

Any other worthwhile guns that I can get with my new C&R? Hopefully, under $500 a piece as my finances are going to crying from all these purchases.

I'd personally get the Tokarev. Or just one of everything. :D

Take a look at AIM Surplus, they generally have a few good C&R buys.

The Good Old Days are done for C&R deals and selection. As stated your best chance is via GB or other sites with a for sale section.

Or post your wants here in the appropriate place, Can't hurt.

The polish p64 in 9x18 are still fairly inexpensive and are a great little gun. Ammo is easy to find. A Mosin in any form is a good buy, prices only going up. I definitely would get a SKS, feed it with 6$ a box ammo and blast away.

One thing I need to clarify, does anyone here have experience ordering C&R handguns? Will JGSales direct ship a Tok to me, or will that still require FFL?

yes, in most states with your C&R they will ship handguns right to the address on the license.

Great then, I believe RI is relatively "free" state so there should be no problems there. Just made an order on the Tokarev, if it turns out ok, the next thing will be the SKS. Now time to eat lean for a while, I've been gaining too much weight as it is...

Graf & Sons offers dealer accounts to C&R FFL holders. Minimum order is $100, though.

I believe the Graf & Sons dealer discount is past, unless you're an actual dealer. They've always had a $2000 annual minimum which I heard they're reinforcing. Unless I do a group buy, there is no way I'll meet $2k a year from them.

Brownell's also gives discounts to C&R Dealers. Sometimes it is quite substantial.

Yep, I added Brownell's today. Thing is, I've been looking through their reloading supplies and there are very few discounts there. Where are most of the discounts?

Numrich gives a modest dealer discount on most parts.

Brownells gives discounts on things you will use - what you pass on to others typically isn't, I believe.
