I like those short barreled guns. Enjoy you new toy, I have one coming too, it's a .357.

Have the same gun. It shoots better than it has a right to. The hogues are ugly as home made sin but it was the only way I could get a grip on it from shot to shot. I wish it was a Bisley.

Range report , took it to the range Saturday and put 36 rounds thru the BH , had to move the sight a little but it held about 6 inches at 21 feet so thats not too bad for me with open sights . Will need to get some color on the front sight so I can see it better and it can't hurt my shooting any . :)

in my opinion the 4 5/8s supers are probably the best dammed out of the box hunting and trail gun ever made.

My 4 5/8" 45 convertible wears Pachmayers. I hope to get a set of wood grips for it some day. Being a S+W double action man I'd like to find a grip that mimics the feel of the S+W K frame grip. Hard to do, I know. I do like the Bisley grip better and have thought of changing frames, but this gun has a really, really nice SA trigger pull.

Depends on where you live. In Ohio the barrel MUST be 5" long to hunt deer with. Don't you just LOVE politicians?

Well, you could TRY to make the case that in all other types of firearms, barrel length is taken from the breech face, and just add in the length of the revolver cylinder. But that would be consistEnt and logical...oh, never mind!

"consistEnt and logical"

We are talking about Politicians, aren't we??

In Ga , when I got here, in 1985 it was legal to hunt deer with a 357 mag pistol, but not my 20" barreled Rossi carbine.

They changed that now, but the standard for loads that are allowed is 500FP at 100 yards, out of a handgun.
I don't know about you but my 30 year old load (Skeeter Skelton's) 15 gr of 2400 behind a 357156 will NOT DO THAT !! I don't know of any 357 loads that will.

Even my 45 Colt would not make that standard, but don't tell the wild hogs, they fall down and do the dead piggie break dance when I shoot one with those pathetic 1000FPS loads.

Speaking of Politico's it should be a rule one term then out, that way they wouldn't spend half their time figuring out how to get elected the next time.

That's why I had a 5 1/2" .44 when I lived there. Fortunately I moved, and although Florida has it's share or ridiculous legislation, it's much better than Ohio was on firearms.
