a friend has some LaserCast boolits that can take a gas check.Seems I've read of some that can be hand applied.
Is there, and how 'zactly are they applied, and do they stay put?

thanks!

maybe the lymans with some super glue?
dont know if they would be the correct diameter though.

The old Lyman gas seating instructions I have seen simply tell you to press the check on, with a dab of lube if necessary. Case neck tension holds the boolit and check in place. Of course, this was before sizing and check seating were combined as one operation in most modern sizer/lubricators.:coffee:

thought the old lymans were designed to fall off in flight.
good idea, bad in practice as they didn't come off at the same distance.
and didn't help accuracy at all.
if nothing else maybe a piece of card stock glued to the bottom of the boolit [if the base stays int the case neck] may work also.
