In my Beretta M1934 and Ruger LCP .380s I use Accurate 35-120H with 2.5 grains of Bullseye.

IIRC, the 86 is a single stack 380. I really like the RD 358-100--virtually the same as the Lee 356-95 TC--over 3.1 grains of ww231.

Gentlemen;

Thanks for your comments.

Since posting I have loaded the LEE 106-356-PB over 2.5 gr 700X.

This functions perfectly and I'll see if I can paste a record of the results -175005

Darn - I can never figure out how to make the images bigger. Anyway, the shooting was very satisfactory.

Good morning, Forrest

Nice shooting, those are amazing little pistols. I shoot the same load as rintinglen in mine. Does yours shoot to the sights or hi at 10 yards? Mine is several inches hi at 20 yards and seems to be "on" at 50 yards. Yes I said 50 yards, seems a bit long for a 380 to me, but it shot into 4 1/2 inches from a truck window rest the day I tried it :) I have been known to carry it on woods walks during hunting season....
I bought the M86 first and it shot so well I had to go find an N84 to keep it company. The 84 shoots well but not as well as the little tipup 86. Probably due to the tipup design and support for the barrel. Just really classy little pistols, enjoy it !

R King;

This gun shoots about 2 inches high @ 10 yards - I have not fired at anything further yet.

For the "Falling Plates" it does not have any surplus power either, but, its enough for the job and its pleasant to shoot.

The little cases get lost easily though.

Gentlemen;

The M86 is a pleasure to shoot - however - with my standard load it shoots to the left of holding. Not much but I tried to move the rear sight over for a center hold and could not.

I was amazed - but close inspection showed that the rear sight has been 'staked' into place at the factory. So, even though the dove-tail is clear the sight is actually fixed - unless enough force is used to move it regardless, which would damage it..

There is a good discussion of this issue on beretta forum. Thread is on the m84 but applicable here as well. I will try and find my link to post here, hope that is within the rules here.

Glad I saw this thread as I picked up a 84BB a few weeks ago and need a mold. I cannot find a LEE 106-356-PB anywhere, was that a group buy mold? I have been looking at both the TL356-95-RF and TL356-124-TC molds since they come in 6-cavity designs. Of the two which would likely work and function better? I haven't reloaded for .380 in years and don't think I ever casted for the ones I had a the time.
