Bought a Rossi 38Spl 20" Model 1892:
* Relined the bore with a TJ Enterprises 1:16 twist liner
* Cut a new 32-20 chamber
Results with no modifications ...
* Rounds feed into the magazine
* Rounds individually release from the tube
* Lifter feeds the reloads into the chamber with no hiccups
* Reloads ignite - pin centers on the primer
* Extractor grabs the rims and ejects them flawlessly
And a Mid Range Vernier installed on the tang

Kinda had the same idea for a 38-55 from an old beat up Marlin 30-30

I see no mention of accuracy.....
Rifle still at the gunsmith ... 3.2gr W231 reloads at 990fps calculate a Stability Factor of 3.15 in a 1:16 bore. Accordingly, with the vernier on it - No Fears of Inaccuracy to 200yds

Rondog, PS... why would you not feel that the round will be not accurate? I shoot it in my 32-20 #2 Remington RB - MOA @ 100yds - 2.5" @200yds with stock sights off the bench

Wondered for years how to make a companion rifle to shoot the 8mm French* revolver cartridges made from 32-20's.
You may have just provided the answer. Thank you sir.

* A .33 Special, for lack of a better definition.

How much heavier did the liner make the 4-1/2 lb rifle ?

No "feelings" one way or the other about the round being accurate. I'm just skeptical about the whole concept of "relining" or "sleeving" a barrel. Never dealt with it, so I wonder how well it works. I have Missouri blood, "show me!"

I am very much interested in more information on this. I have a Rossi M92 357 mag. That I would love to turn into a 32-20.
So i will watch this with interest.

The 32-20 is one of my favorite cartridges of all time!! Well done sir!

No need to be skeptical about relining a barrel. I'm from Missouri and have lived here 56 of my 63 years and the relines I've had done are a lot better than rutted up gravel roads of the original bores. Sometimes they take a bit of shooting to get them to settle down and a bit of load juggling, at least that's been my experience, but they'll shoot! Most recent was a previously altered Jeffery Rook rifle that had been re-chambered to 25-20. I had it relined and chambered back to 25-20, to go to the original 255 Jeffery was cost prohibitive for me, and it's coming around nicely.

A few years back, (2003) Marlin did two Marlins for me and two for my brother. We had them change them to 38-55. The cost at that time was $280.00 each. They put new octagon 25" barrels on with new sights, a new bolt, new forearm and stock. They sent back all the old parts, I sold the old parts for a $100.00.
