(Mark 9:38-39) "¶ And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. {39} But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me."

The apostles saw another doing works for, and by Jesus's authority, but because the other wasn't of that group, they told him to knock it off. You know, the old, "if you aren't gonna do it our way, just don't do it." But look at Jesus's answer.

Another view, same scenario;

(Luke 9:49-50) "¶ And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. {50} And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us."

Again, look to Jesus for the answer.

If this makes no sense to you, set it on a shelf in your mind and at the proper time, it will come clear.

You know, my carnal self wants to say, "OH Yeah man, I really rocked them", but my spirit knows it is The Spirit who made this possible. Your positive responses are humbling indeed, and welcome, but the glory is to The Father.
