Is anyone here loading cast bullets in a Henry big boy 44 mag?

The Hornady jacketed .430 bullets are phenomenally accurate. I've heard from others that the big boy's usually slug .431", but I've read that in the Marlin's with micro groove barrel, it is best to use .432" bullets.

So before I order a NOE mold and sizer, I'd like to know whether to go .431" or .432".

The only way to find out is to slug your barrel ans measure.
Diameters can vary from gung to gun.

Actually you want to size to fit the throat as it will easily swage to fill the barrel.

All I shoot in mine is the Noe 432-265 wfngc sized at .431. I never did slug the bore but it is very accurate with them.

As big as you can stuff in there, take a fired case from the rifle and measure the ID, that will get you pretty close. You will probably end up around .431-.432.
