Vimpat ?

Doc is changing some of my meds
Anyone know much about Vimpat ?
I looked it up , but I was hoping for more than the sales pitch on the web

Taking me off Keppera
As it can cause mood changes

Anti seizure medicine. Works slightly different than the keppra. The neuropeds and neuro docs I know love vimpat in difficult to control seizures. I have had several patients do well on it in the past.

Best of luck with your seizures as they can be a nuisance at best and life changing at worst.

My seizures are Back Round type
I never knew I was having them till they ran a bunch of tests for other problems

So far so good
I was told to stay on the Keppra for the first 2 weeks I am taking the Vimpat
I am guessing to let my body build up the Vimpat in my blood
