Do any of you know where I can find an original rear sight for a Parker-Hale Volunteer?

Try Lodgewood Mfg or S&S.

www.ssfirearms.com

www.lodgewood.com

That's the correct web address for Lodgewood, but I can't get anything but an error.

Hi Gunner,

S&S has several interesting sights. None are exactly what I'm looking for, but a couple may be even better.

Thanks, Tom

Any issue with shipping to the US?

Any issue with shipping to the US?

I noticed several items were not for export due to postage cost, my luck the one item I would buy, they won't ship out of the UK.

Hey, the Lodgewood MFG link works today! 262-473-5444 is the number in case the link goes down again. Bill Osborn is the owner and a great guy to talk to and deal with...if you can catch him. His employees are there most times during week days.

Have you spoken with the Dysons about shipping?

Not yet, I'm in a bit of a quandary over a couple of things right now.

No I haven't, I just visited their site yesterday for the first time. I see they have Windsor Enfield rammers, and I have an 1856 Windsor that could use one. No biggie, I modified a Tower rammer to fit, but it is interesting that they would even make a correct rammer for a Windsor. The Windsors are very rare here in the states.

Those Rich Cross sights at Lodgewood and S&S are the best choice, as the Volunteer rear sight with the replaceable blades is just non-existent. I've used the RC sights on other reproduction Enfields, and they are incredibly well made.
