I already have the the RCBS 35-200 gn FN mold but I couldn't help but be curious about the new Lee C358-200-RF mould for the 35 Remington. Has anyone tried it out yet?

I started with Lee molds and have had few issues with them (all 15 of them). I own one RCBS and two Lyman molds only because Lee didn't make what I needed.

No knock on Lee mold I started with them to
If you already have the RCBS 35 200 the only way to get better is a Accurate, MP or Noe 4 cavity. That RCBS 35 200 is one fine mold proven in many a rifle

I bought the Lee mold a while back and it casts a beautiful boolits. Very close to the RCBS boolits but a little shorter and about 10 grains lighter. I haven't come up with a good load yet for my 336. They feed thru the 336 much smoother than the RCBS and dont engage the rifling as tight either. When I size them at .359 they just barely get touched by the sizer, maybe 50% around.
My measurements may be off a little but the differences would be the same.

As has been said, it's a copy of a very good bullet. I have a NOE four cavity clone and it has worked great in the rifles I have used it in.

I have thought because of the cost of them being low and being made of aluminum, I might get one of the Lees and try to remove the gas check part of one or both cavities so as to make a plain based version.

I have had some feeding issues in my Remington pump. That is my main issue.
