auction site blanks turned into grips finally

I finally got around to making up a set of grips out of 2 of the 4 blanks I got from Waksupi over onthe benefit site which he donated.

Just to show they haven't gone to waste. I hope to make another set for an old H & R Trapper I'm putting back into action.

We have a few $5000 exhibition blanks we will be cutting shortly, and if there are any good pieces left over, I'll run another auction with them.

I'll be watching those auction pages! The grain pattern on the right grip was especially handsome. The left one is nice too but just not as variegated (a word I think)!
