Looking at getting into casting in the near future and came across a bunch of reloading equipment from an estate sale. Can't seem to find prices on a RCBS Lubrisizer with a Midway Heated plate. Selling for 100 bucks? Found a Lubrisizer 2 on midway for 169 but I'm guessing the heated plate it discontinued.
Any guesses on the value of this setup or if its worth the asking price?

The Lubersizer alone is worth that and then some. I also have that heater and works great. Even better since I hooked a PID to it.

If the rest of that stuff is priced that reasonably I'd be tempted to buy it too and sell what I couldn't use myself!

thanks, got some RCBS shell holders and a RCBS collet bullet puller from him. Dont have much use for the other stuff, not a Dillon guy. Wants 40 for the Forstner case trimmer, looks a bit rusty. Already have a Hornady case trimmer. Lots of RCBS dies too, but, mostly rifles.

That's an easy $500+ brand new pile of stuff there. I'd say hop on it like a fat kid on a free pile of doughnuts. Keep what you want and recoup some of your expenses selling the rest.

well, the 100 is just for the lubrisizer and heat plate, not everything in the picture like the dillon parts and the forster case trimmer, which is 40? if it was all inclusive I would have already jumped on the pile!

Used LAMs sell for around $100 minimum by themselves. So it's a good deal at that price if it includes the plate. Go to eBay to see what they've sold for recently.

That canaluring tool in the center of your picture is sellable for $50+ all day long, likewise that Forster trimmer is an easy $50 item especially if it is an older Appelt marked tool. In short, grab it all and part it out.Robert

You can't mix Midway and RCBS equipment as it will cause the Earth to tip off its axis and fall into the Sun. Our only hope is Earth gets there at night

Thanks for the info. LAM was missing a few parts, have to make sure RCBS still has them. The Case trimmer was pretty pitted with rust and no parts with it, so I passed on it. But did get a like new set of SW k-l Frame target stocks for 40.00!!

God I can only hope my children are smart enough to price all my "STUFF" appropriately when I sign off. Maybe I should make a catalog with prices for them. I know they would look at bullet molds and not even be sure what they are much less what they should sell them for.

its on hold, got the missing parts coming and a set of o rings just in case from RCBS. Bought a set of 223 SB dies from him too, they ended up being a set of reloader special dies with the old smooth decap rod. RCBS is sending a conversion kit for a threaded decap rod. sizing die top nut was stripped, so I will fix it for him before returning it. Good thing he is local.
