Pro 1000 flaring on deprime stage

Hi gents

Does anyone know how to set up the decapping die on a Pro 1000 for 7.62x39 so it flares my case ?

It has to be done on a different step. I don't know if there is a way to get it to do what you want.

If you have a two die set, and the sizing/decapping die is being used, there isn't a physical way to flare in a sizing die. The top of the die sizes the neck down, while at the same time the decapping pin is pushing the primer out.

It's impossible for the case mouth to be flare (belled) in a die that is squeezing down the neck, since the neck has to be withdrawn through the sizing portion of the die. If it got flared, it would just get sized back down when it got pulled from the die.

If you have a three die set, then the second die would flare (bell) the case mouth, in most die sets.

There's probably no way to do that, since there must be a shoulder on the deprime stem to flare the case.

Do you powder drop in the second station? You should be able to get an expander part made up to fit in the powder drop die.

Second station has the universal charging die for an auto disk.
Thanks for the help guy's. Keeping the pro 1000 for 9mm and sold this one for ak-47 yesterday, bought a normal turret press in it's place.
