Info wanted on this redding please

The 1964 Handloader's Digest lists it as the "Redding Standard Reloading Press". The list price was $22.50. Note that it was quite similar to the Lachmiller-later RCBS-shotshell resized.

It is the same as Lachmiller. Redding brought this press to market about 1959. It is a poor design for a reloading press but works great in the Lachmiller format. The weak link is the small, cast "C" links, they break easily. For neck sizing it's ok, just don't full length resize anything larger than 222. It uses H type shellholder and 7/8-14 dies so it has some practical use today. Lachmiller replaced the cast links with larger steel and didn't have problems.
