03a3 and the 311284

last night i loaded 50 rounds for todays mil bolt action br match. i was very undecided on what gun and what boolit to shoot.(i had been out of town till thursady am) settled on some 311284 seconds( wrinkled noses),225 gr with lube a gc. picked 21 I4227 with 9 1/2 rem primers and an 03a3. this is a swag load based on lots of comments on the 284 boolit and 4227. no sighters....first ten to foul bbl and get a zero, the second ten started high and then worked low,,,this was good as the last 30 rounds(3x10) is for score, and now i was solidly in the black. missed 4th place by 1x....but had fun and recycled some lead!

these were sized 313 and while they shot well they would not fit my lee target loader, so finished with a bonanza br seater. will try 312 next time....and who knows maybe even develope a load for it.

finished fifth...not bad for a swag load....see what happens when you hang arouynd here enough...even your guesses get good........
