Tang site for new Pedersoli 1886 Sporting rifle

Just received the Pedersoli 1886 sporting rifle. it looks great, no issue with feeding box ammo. I'm new to black powder and cast bullets so that the next step using this rifle. I am looking to put a tang site on it but no one makes one specifically for this model by Pedersoli. I'm leaning to Marble and, per my conversation with them, get the base they recommend for the improved tang site. I'll probably have to drill and tap 2 holes for this. Before I move forward I was wondering what tang site solutions anyone else may have stumbled on.

I just used a standard Marbles tang peep sight for the Winchester 1886, along with Marbles longer tang screw (ordered in addition to the sight).

Since the sight base had a concave underside that fairly well matched the 1886 rear tang's convex contour, I simply used the rear tang screw only, checking the tightness prior to every outing.

FWIW: the tang screw never loosened, over the 5 years of shooting & hunting I did with that rifle

MVA make nice sights. When I ordered for my Winchester 94, I also got a sight base for a Uberti 1873 and an 1885 at the same time. All 3 sight bases were the same. I suspect the same sight base as what fits the other Winchesters will fit yours. You might call them there at MVA. They are really helpful.
