Shaken for bout 2 minutes in black AirSoft BB's and HF red. Standard Alabama humidity didn't seem to be a problem.
Now ordering a Lee .452 sizer die.

Looks awesome. I have not found the Alabama humidity to be a problem either.

I have wondered about the humidity thing myself. I have used smokes powders here in Oklahoma summer humidity, under the awning while it was raining! Looks good btw, welcome to another addiction.

Looks good! I started out with HF red and now use powder from Smoke. If you can get HF powder to work you will absolutely enjoy his powders, I know I did.

Good 1st one.
I still use HF red as my primary powder. Straight or mixed with smokes blue, HF yellow, HF white, HF matte black to make a rainbow of colors and effects.

Great job. I like HF red, but it is more fussy about humidity. I can get smokes powder to cover in less than 1mi of shaking, regardless of the humidity. HF can take 2-3x longer depending on conditions.

this answers my question about these two being compatible--thanks BJ

The only non-compatible-ish thing I have found is matte black and the BBDT process. The matting agent totally kills that teeny weeny static charge in the bowl.
I use ESPC with any powder mix I do with HF matte black. And it works GREAT!
