I had a shark skin laying around and when another customer wanted a shark rig, I decided to build an extra for my 5 inch gun, only on mine I used blue thread for an accent! Thanks for looking:

That's absolutely fantastic. Great looking rig! The blue thread is a very nice touch.

I saw one in shark that Andy Anderson made. The guy who has it said Andy said it was the toughest thing to work with, and would never make another.

I've made a few over the years from shark I think it's a bit harder to work with than some others but as far as durability you can't beat it in exotic skins.

Is the holster lined or is the inside of the shark skin a whole lot less abrasive than the outside? The shark skin I've seen had little toothy projections called "denticles" or some such, making it great for sword handles so your bloody hand wouldn't slip. I'm guessing it's going to be pretty rough on the inside of your jacket as well.

Yes it is smooth leather lined and this piece actually had an very smooth outside texture I don't expect any clothing wear

Very nice, is it for sale? very interested, if I can afford it.

I never had a sharkskin holster, but I did have a pair of Justin boots made from it. They wore like iron, I think I had three different soles put on before they were too far gone to do again.
