If I did not get too much heat I think I saw a ad yesterday with a Henry lever in 06 class cartridges, and it looked half decent. Any info other than a picture? Does it weigh a ton?

Henry's website shows a model in 308 Win. Try https://www.henryrifles.com/rifles/the-long-ranger/

I may be wrong, but at that price I'll bet they don't sell too many of those. Then again I'd like to have one in 7-08!

Cheaper than a used Browning BLR, or a new Kimber 84 (whatever model Kimber 84). They'll sell.

wow, 7 pounds and I like it. You know I could see selling a few to get one of them! I applaude them for stepping out of the box!! If we can keep our "bias" in check and stay open minded we might more of this stuff.

If you think that, then buy two of them, use one and keep the other for an investment.

Hopefully the levers don't snap back like a Daisy though. lol

Good lord those Daisies can bite! I remember one time as a kid I thought it would be cool to hold the lever forwards as I pulled the trigger. Never made that mistake again.

Had a M88 Winchester years ago. Should have kept it. These look OK and I hope they work.
