Remington has also bought Rohrbaugh which arguably made the finest .380/9mm Auto Pistol ever produced. They were $1200!

Remington bought the company, moved it to AL, and has started production on a slightly improved version of the gun. This gun is a winner all the way and is light years ahead of any other subcompact Pistol on the market simply because it is a locked breach gun, and is much easier to operate than a Blowback gun. (less Spring Pressure)

According to AR it is about $450 MSRP. RM.380 and the 9mm version will follow soon.

Mr. Gullible here. My wife is looking for a 9mm but it seems that Remington has been going through a tough time. Could the R51 be lumped together with the company's QC issues?

BTW...gullible is not in the dictionary.

I wish them well. The Pedersen lock is very interesting mechanically. Sort of a like a short stroke gas piston where the case head is the piston and the slide is the op-rod and carrier.
