I recently switched from a lee ladle to a lyman, and wow my speed and consistency went up substantially. It was a good investment.

Yes, but then again you are comparing a Nissan and a Roll Royce.

I use a ladle I made and was wondering if the RCBS Ladle or the Lyman Ladle is the Cadilac? :)

I ladle cast for years and particularly like the rcbs ladle because it has the dross fin on the back. I have a number of rowell ladles that don't get used much

this one also has the dross fin on the bottom, I would say in my very unexpert opinion that it is a very close copy of the RCBS ladle. Another cool thing about it is that I figured out a rythm fairly quickly, and I don't have to tap the bullets out of the mold as I had to do with the lee.
