I picked up a surplus P64 pistol along with some dies and need a 4, 5 or 6 cavity mold. I know there have been a few group buys but are there any off the shelf molds that will work for the 9x18 cartridge?

I don't know if Lee has one, but today 'off the shelf' to me means MP, NOE, Accurate, etc. and yes, they do. I'm using an MP mold for mine.

I emailed MP and he had a surplus one and he might have more. Drops real nice 95 grain hollow points.
Lubed or powder coated, they are real accurate out of my P64.

Thanks I'll check into the MP, otherwise will go with NOE.

Accurate 37-125T is Tom's heavy .32 ACP bullet with diameters increased for the 9x18.

The 35-120H for the .380 ACP can also be cut larger for the MAK if you order it that way.
Molds are not "in stock" but made to order with typical turnaround time 30 days on a gang mold.

Showing Lee make a 95 grain 365-95-1R but not in 6 cavity but I bet if you call them
they could make it.

NOE had made 100 grainer in the past but I don't see currently listed

Lotta good mold choices out there. If your gonna convert 9mm look at the Wilson trimmer. It's slow and on the expensive side, but it cuts withen 0.001" for me.
I tried Lee Quick trimmer and could keep it in tolerance. Probably my fault.

If you are interested I have a 2 cavity lee, and a 3 cavity from Tom. I could sell.

The Lee 365-95-1R is what I use for my P-64, P-83 and RK-59. It works great, sized .366. It has a standard lube groove but I TL mine to date. I recently got a new sizing die from Lathesmith for it to use in a Lyman 45 and 4500. The only complaint with the mold is that it is a 2 cavity only. NOE has a long standing Ranch Dog mold waiting on group buy and hopefully they will start that run at some point. You can order up to a 5 cavity of that design.

That Lee mould is hard to beat for 9mm Mak. I have one that I paid $5.00 for and it drops better boolits than a Saeco Mould I have that had been modded to HP by Eric. The guy had $250 in that mould and I begrudgingly gave him $50 for it.

The Lee mould makes better boolits !

What are they $20 new?

Cutting 9mm cases down using the Lee trim tool and chuck is by far the fastest way to do that too.

Yep, I had a PM waiting on NOE forum. It's on it's way to me in a 5 cavity model. Looking forward to see how it works.

Another old 9mm Makarov Lyman mold was the 364653 (95gr/casts .366"). It's not made anymore. Maybe one might show up some day, some where for sale. Shoots great for me as cast with LLA in my East German Makarov.

I have gotten by with an RCBS 100 grain RN 2-cavity I bought c. 1991 for my East German Makarov. Sized at .365" with BW/Alox, it has done decent work for me for a long time, and for a few years the Mak was my carry gun. HR-218 messed that all up, though.
