I haven't been able to find too much on here having to do with cast in 7mm's other than Boom Boom's. Here's some of what I have tried out. I tried using the soup can boolit, and haven't got it to shoot worth beans shot more of a shotgun pattern really. Tonight I was using boolits I cast from Fatnhappy's Saeco 071 mold and didn't do too bad. All targets were shot at 50 yards, and all boolits are ACWW. I have a Bushnell Trophy 3-9 scope on top, Saeco 071 boolit sized to .285 and lubed with 2 coats of Lee Liquid Alox. Alliant 2400 powder using a pinch of dryer lint as a filler lit with a standard CCI large rifle primer. I think that if you guys want to use cast in these handi rifles you are going to need a bore rider design, at least that is my take on it so far....more testing to come.
