Has anyone done this? I would like to be able to see the charge in the case. Thanks

Any time you have a progressive loader, the mirror is a wise decision to make. I use a Dillon and to date have never had a missed charge, but it's still nice to actually see it before you move the handle again.

I did the mirror trick on my Dillon 450B, which actually required Two pieces of mirror tile which I mounted to both the press and the bench with RTV silicone clear.

Once I added a light seeing the powder charge before I topped the case with a boo lit worked very well plan to do the same to the Lee Pro 1000 that have popped up in my reloading inventory

Boy, you guys put all kinds of `Bells & Whistles` on your presses - I still do it the old fashioned way by actually visually check the cases with my eyes.Robert

Oh, you still have to us your eyes with a mirror, it just keep you from having to be in an odd position to see down into the case.

But yeah bells & whistles make it so your eyes don't even have to be in the same room and you can check for high/low powder charges.

I try when I can but honestly the most important addition was the RCBS lockout die. That thing has saved my butt more than once and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Really with all the doo dads we consider, the lockout die imo is a necessity for progressive loading.

I tried the mirror approach but nothing really came of it since you kinda need 2 mirrors, and a light to see into deeper cases, plus figure out a way to keep it aesthetically pleasing.

Ps I love my pro 2000, incredibly good press and the aps strips are excellent.
