We are seeing more and more attacks upon Gods people for standing for the Gospel, Though we are pressed upon by the world we must press on toward the mark of the high calling. We face ridicule and mocking daily from not only those around us but also from the television and news stations. This brings Genesis 6: 9-22 to mind, GOD told Noah to build an ark to save his family and the animals from HIS wrath. Noah did exactly as GOD instructed him, This was not a weekend project to build a boat but took 120 years. How much mocking and ridicule do you think Noah withstood? No matter what Noah faced he believed GOD and did exactly what he was told, Noah had "faith" in what God told him meaning he could not see what would really happen but he knew GOD would destroy the corruption by the flood. We have been warned of the coming wrath and judgement at Christ's return and it is by "faith" that we know these things will come to pass though we don't see it yet. Today we may face ridicule and be mocked for believing in what we can't see but just as Noah had "faith" and believed God about the wrath to come, We have "faith" that what GOD has promised concerning the return of Christ will come to pass exactly as He said. Today is the day we are given to live and today is the day of Salvation and it is only "Faith" in Christ and Him knowing us not us knowing Him that bears any weight. Christ said there would be many who say they cast out devils, prophesied and did many miracles, Christ will say to them depart you workers of iniquity "I" never knew you. Apart from a right relationship with God through Christ there is no escaping the wrath to come!
